At Summer Session, you won't be going it alone. Summer Session provides academic support every step of the way, from pre-summer through final exams.
Advising
Get help with course selection and requirements, drop/add procedures, selecting and changing of grading options, course withdrawal and annulment processes, and the academic petitions associated with each of these areas.
Tutoring
Whether you're fine-tuning a paper, preparing for an exam, or just wanting a fresh perspective, tutors are here for you. Access tutoring by booking one-on-one appointments in advance or by visiting in-person drop-in tutoring hours.
Workshops
Dive in to a topic of interest or discover a new one. Come with a growth mindset and develop your academic skills with us. Topics range from how to conduct and present research to a software miniseries on different coding languages.

Our Mission
Our mission is to support students for the Stanford Summer Quarter curriculum. Summer tutoring does not offer SAT, ACT, GRE, or other standardized test tutoring.
Stanford matriculated students should contact their respective graduate and undergraduate advisors for Summer Quarter advising.
Getting familiar with our academic support services is a great way to stay ahead of the game—most of our students say they wish they had visited earlier in the quarter!
